According to the E-Waste Management Rules, 2016, e-waste also includes rejects from production, refurbishment, and repair processes.Improper disposal of e-waste can be hazardous, as it contains toxic substances like mercury, lead, and harmful chemicals that pose risks to both human health and the environment.
